View your active session
Once you’ve started charging from your iPhone, the charger’s detail screen turns into a live view of your session. This tutorial shows you where to find that view, what it tells you, and how to stop the session when you’re done.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- You have the ExpresScan app installed and you’re signed in.
- You have a charging session already running on a charger you can open in the app.
Goal See your live session and stop it when you're ready
Time~2 min
-
Open the charger you're using
From the chargers list, tap the charger that’s running your session. The detail screen loads with a hero image and the charger’s name at the top.

Read the active session card
When a session is running, the detail screen shows an active session card below the hero. The card updates once per second, so the elapsed time ticks forward while you watch it. Energy delivered is shown in kWh.
-
Refresh if something looks stale
Tap the circular arrow icon in the top-right toolbar to refresh the screen. You can also pull down on the screen to refresh.
-
Stop the session when you're done
Tap Stop charging at the bottom of the screen. A confirmation dialog appears asking “Stop charging?” — it shows the energy delivered so far (for example, “Stop the session at 12.4 kWh delivered?”).
Tap Stop charging in the dialog to confirm, or Keep charging to dismiss it and leave the session running.
Verify
Section titled “Verify”You know the session stopped when the Stop charging button is replaced by Start charging, and the active session card disappears from the screen.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”The active session card doesn’t appear, but I started charging. Tap the refresh icon in the top-right toolbar. If the card still doesn’t appear, the charger may not have reported the session back yet — wait a few seconds and refresh again.
The screen shows “Out of service” or “Offline” instead of my session. The charger has lost its connection or has been taken out of service. Your session data will reappear once the charger reconnects.
