Manage your active sessions
If you share a computer, finish charging at a public terminal, or want to switch accounts, you sign out from the Account page. This tutorial shows you where to find that control and what to expect afterward. You need to be signed in to follow along.

The Account page collects every personal control in one view. -
Find the Sign out section
Scroll past Profile and Preferences. The Sign out section sits below them. It reads: “End this session on this device. You can sign back in from the login page.”
-
Select Sign out
Select the Sign out button on the right of that section. Polaris ends the session on this device and sends you to the login page.
Verify
Section titled “Verify”You’re back at the login page. If you reload Polaris or visit a protected page, you’re asked to sign in again.
What else lives on this page
Section titled “What else lives on this page”The Account page is also where you handle the rest of your account settings:
- Profile — edit your name inline. Your email, account-created date, and onboarded date are read-only. To change your email, contact your operator.
- Preferences — switch between light, dark, and system theme. Language settings are coming in a later release.
- Account (danger zone) — start an account-deletion request. Self-serve deletion isn’t available yet, so the button opens a prefilled email to your operator. They confirm your identity and retire the account with a 30-day recovery window, so a mistaken request can be undone.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”“Couldn’t load profile right now.” Polaris couldn’t read your profile from the database. Refresh the page. If the message stays, sign out, sign back in, and try again.
The Sign out button doesn’t do anything. Check your browser’s network connection. Sign-out is a server request — if you’re offline, it can’t complete. Reconnect and select the button again.
You’re signed out unexpectedly. Your session may have expired, or you signed out from another tab. Sign in again from the login page using your magic link or your usual method.
