Cancel a reservation
If your plans change and you no longer need a charger you booked, you can cancel the reservation from its detail page. This tutorial walks you through finding the reservation and cancelling it on the web app. You need a Polaris Express account with at least one active reservation.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Sign in to the web app at
polaris.express. - Have the reservation you want to cancel in mind — the date, time, or charger helps you find it.

Open your reservations list
From the sidebar, go to Reservations. You’ll see your bookings listed there.

The Reservations page lists every booking on your account. -
Open the reservation you want to cancel
Click the reservation you want to cancel. The detail page opens, titled Reservation # followed by the reservation’s number. The header shows the reservation’s status badge next to a Cancel button.

The detail page header shows the current status and the cancel control. -
Check the summary
Under Summary, confirm you have the right reservation. The tiles show:
- Date — the day the reservation starts.
- Time — the start and end time.
- Duration — how long the slot lasts.
- Charger — the ChargeBox and connector you booked.
- Card — the EV card linked to the reservation.
If the identity strip is visible above the summary, you can also match the charger’s Public ID to the sticker on the physical unit.

Cancel the reservation
In the header, click Cancel. Confirm when prompted.
Verify
Section titled “Verify”After you cancel:
- The status badge in the header switches to the cancelled state.
- A new Cancelled tile appears in the Summary section, showing the date and time the cancellation went through.
If both of those appear, the cancellation is in.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”The Cancel button isn’t there. The cancel control only appears for reservations that are still cancellable. If the reservation has already started, already finished, or is already cancelled, the button is hidden.
The page says “Reservation not found”. The reservation either doesn’t exist or isn’t on your account. Go back to Reservations and pick one from your own list.
