Download an invoice PDF
You want a PDF of one of your charging invoices — for expense reports, tax records, or your own files. This guide walks you through requesting that PDF from the web dashboard. You need a Polaris Express account and at least one invoice on file.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Sign in to the web dashboard at
polaris.expresswith the account that owns the invoice. - Have the invoice open or know its number, so you can find it in your billing history.

Your invoices appear with date, amount, and status. -
Open the invoice you want
Click the invoice you want to save. The invoice detail page opens with the line items and totals.
-
Request the PDF
Click Download PDF. The dashboard asks our billing system to prepare the file.
-
Wait for the file, or retry
One of two things happens:
- The PDF is ready. Your browser downloads the file, or opens it in a new tab.
- The PDF is still being prepared. The dashboard tells you generation is pending. Wait a few seconds, then click Download PDF again.
Verify
Section titled “Verify”You’ve succeeded when the PDF opens in your browser or lands in your Downloads folder. Open it and confirm the invoice number and total match what you saw on screen.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”“Invoice not found.” This invoice isn’t linked to the account you’re signed in with. Sign out and sign back in with the account that received the invoice. If you believe the invoice belongs to you, contact support.
“Failed to request PDF.” Our billing system didn’t respond. Wait a minute and try again. If it keeps failing, contact support with the invoice number.
The download never finishes, and retrying keeps showing “pending.” PDF generation usually completes within a few seconds. If it stays pending for more than a minute or two, contact support — something on the billing side is stuck.
